Private Shopping Assistant - Mandarin Speaker

About the Role

As a Private Shopping Assistant you will support our Private Client Managers (PCMs) in delivering exceptional service to Harrods’ most loyal clients. Your responsibilities include assisting PCMs with client servicing during and outside appointments, managing room bookings, acting as a runner for size swaps, and identifying additional client needs.

Responsibilities also cover:

• Arranging add‑on services such as alterations, restaurants, beauty appointments, parking and other in‑store services.
• Developing relationships with clients, engaging in meaningful conversations to build rapport and trust.
• Managing online client requests and creating "Suspended Transactions" for Transaction Assistants.
• Investigating quotes for dispatch and delivery arrangements, both locally and internationally.
• Seeking opportunities to surprise and delight clients based on their personal preferences.

To be successful you will have experience in a retail environment, be a strong communicator, and capable of building enduring client relationships. You should remain positive under pressure, adapt to change, and not shy away from any tasks or queries.
