Location: City of Westminster

Overview

As a Customer Team Leader you lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
  • Motivate, coach and support your team to deliver excellent service and efficient operations.
  • Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
  • Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes.
  • Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.
  • Assist the Store Manager and ensure the store is safe and well‑stocked at all times.
Qualifications
  • Passion for people and proven leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
  • Basic retail, merchandising or team‑management skills (experience not essential).
  • Strong sense of community, commercial awareness and the ability to lead by example.
Working Hours

6:30am to 3:00pm or 2:30pm to 10:00pm, with flexible availability across the week to include at least one weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday or Sunday).
