Retail Driver

Fancy joining the UK’s number one Wine Specialist? We are looking for an experienced, committed and customer‑centric driver to work within our Central London stores.

As a Majestic Wine Driver, you will meet and talk to different customers each day. The role is about more than just driving – it’s about managing the end‑to‑end delivery process and acting as an ambassador for the store.

• Salary: £13.92 per hour
• Location:
  
  Flexible – with travel to the following stores required:
  Covent Garden, Islington, Vauxhall, Marylebone, St John’s Wood

• Be the face of Majestic to delivery customers, ensuring excellent customer service
• Pick deliveries and load the van
• Maintain the van to high standards, ensuring it is clean and all compliance checks are carried out
• Deliver to customers’ homes, workplaces or venues with a smile and helpful attitude (including flights of stairs)
• Communicate with customers to book deliveries and provide updates on delivery time slots
• Find ways to be more efficient with driving time, understanding the cost impact of inefficient delivery runs
• Serve as an ambassador for Majestic while driving, driving confidently and safely

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
• Be comfortable carrying up to 18kg (equivalent to 2 wine boxes)
• Be confident driving in Central London
• Have excellent time‑management, delegation and problem‑solving skills
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer
• Have a positive can‑do attitude with passion for solving problems
