We are looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to support the Commercial and Produce Specialist teams, combining account management with range planning and customer-focused execution across a busy produce category.

This is a varied hybrid role for someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on cross-functional collaboration, and wants to develop their commercial career within a fast-moving retail supply environment.

Role Overview

As Junior Commercial Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate range changes, planogram creation, and forecasting within the Produce category. Using data-driven insight, you will help drive commercial performance while improving availability, space use, and the overall in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Commercial team in managing a key retail account
Support the execution of joint business and category plans to grow sales and share
Maintain and report on customer data, including KPIs and sales performance
Manage promotional planning, ensuring data accuracy and clear communication
Own and maintain both short-term and long-term sales forecasts
Support customer portal management, including code generation and product updates
Lead on customer reporting and insight, including sales, promotional, and KPI summaries
Own and manage the weekly range change process, working with display planners, buyers, and supply chain
Ensure planograms are accurate and aligned with display principles, cost-to-fill, and days cover
Address space gaps and maintain display quality through reviews, quality checks, and retail operations feedback
Apply display principles consistently, including colour blocking and space optimisation across store formats

Junior Commercial Manager Key Requirements

Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple teams
Strong self-motivation, drive, and a positive, can-do approach
Adaptable, with excellent organisational and time management skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office with strong data analysis capability
Comfortable handling large data sets and reporting with accuracy
A genuine team player who enjoys collaborative working
