Business Development Manager Large Format Print
Location: Hybrid working South East
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE
My client is a modern large format printer specialising in the production of premium print products with fully in-house production, the business delivers everything from large-format print and vinyl graphics to signage, illuminated lettering, 3D fabrication, and bespoke display solutions.
The RoleThis is a newly created role, introduced to support the next phase of growth rather than replace an existing salesperson. The business has achieved circa £1m turnover without a formal sales function, relying on inbound enquiries and online marketing making this a genuinely exciting opportunity for a BDM to add value quickly.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities
- Build and develop relationships with agencies, stand builders, and trade partners
- Act as the commercial lead for large-format and signage enquiries
- Work closely with internal Project Managers and production teams
- Develop a structured sales approach alongside existing marketing activity
- Support the transition of the business toward a more account-managed model
- Proven experience in large format print and/or signage sales
- Comfortable operating as a standalone salesperson
- Commercially minded with a realistic, long-term approach to growth
- Confident building relationships without a pre-existing lead stream
- Enjoys working closely with production and project teams
