Overview
We are looking for a Partnership Manager to join our Corporate Sales Department and help grow strategic relationships, events and experiences that extend the reach of our social wellness club. This role is responsible for developing and managing partnerships that generate new revenue while creating engaging events, activations and collaborations across our club network. Through creative partnerships and experiences, you will help bring our brand to new communities, strengthen existing relationships and unlock new commercial opportunities for the business.
The Role
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships that generate revenue and expand Virgin Active's reach into new communities and organisations
- Plan and deliver partner events and experiences that showcase the Virgin Active club environment and our social wellness proposition
- Identify and sell additional services such as wellness workshops, group fitness sessions, health assessments and corporate wellbeing experiences
- Create and deliver engaging activations including challenges, events and collaborative campaigns that introduce partners to our clubs
- Work closely with club teams to coordinate and deliver activations across multiple locations, ensuring a seamless experience for partners and members
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, tracking progress and reporting on partnership performance and commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to grow existing partnerships and identify upsell opportunities
- Represent Virgin Active externally, building relationships with organisations that align with our brand and wellbeing mission
- Travel across the UK to meet partners, attend events and support key activations
- 3-5 years' experience in partnerships, business development or commercial relationship management
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of identifying, developing and closing opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects, partnerships and events simultaneously
- Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with in the fitness, wellbeing, lifestyle or health sector would be advantageous
