The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Auction & Business Development Manager to join a dynamic property-focused organisation based in Battersea. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong understanding of the property market and a proven ability to win and grow business within auctions, residential, or commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business growth by sourcing property instructions for auction, including residential, commercial, and mixed‑use assets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, developers, agents, and lenders
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase auction entries, buyer participation, and overall revenue
  • Manage the full lifecycle of client engagement, from initial pitch through to successful sale
  • Provide expert advice to clients on auction strategy, pricing, and market positioning
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and operations teams to ensure successful auction campaigns
  • Monitor property market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to inform strategic decisions
  • Represent the business at property events, networking functions, and client meetings
Requirements
  • Proven track record in property auctions, estate agency, or property-focused business development
  • Strong understanding of the UK property market, particularly within London and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, winning instructions, and delivering revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Highly motivated, target‑driven, and commercially aware
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities
