Sales Executive – Award Table Sales/Delegate Sales

Basic up to £25K plus OTE £35K uncapped. Working for a growing media/events business. Based in Central London.

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing media and events business. They are well established and have operated some clear market leading events over a long period. They offer conferences/awards and various media solutions across some interesting market sectors. In addition, they have acquired heritage titles and grown new media platforms with exciting solutions for their clients.

About the Role of a Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, you will focus on generating revenue from selling tables at awards dinners plus delegate spaces s will be over the phone and you’ll be given warm prospects to work with. You will get to work across a portfolio of international events. This role is available due to a promotion within the company, there will be a clear career path for a strong applicant to move over into sponsorship down the line.

You should be able to demonstrate competency in the below key areas, it is not essential to meet all requirements but priority will be given to applications that satisfy most:

Key Qualifications
  • Have successfully sold B2B media/delegate/awards tables previously with a track record of success.
  • Skilled in B2B sales.
  • Experience in selling over the phone and building relationships.
  • Able to work with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Trained in consultative sales techniques.
  • Ability to spot new opportunities and sell multiple packages.
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Evidence of working in a team environment towards a common goal.
