As we expand our product offerings, we rely on exceptional frontline professionals who deliver memorable customer experiences while also driving commercial results. The Rental Service Agent is a dual-focused role:
- Customer Experience Champion for rentals
- Sales Specialist for RV purchase demos and conversions
This position executes all customer-facing rental operations and performs professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. It is a hands-on, customer-centric role combining service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. Across rentals and sales, this role ensures every vehicle, every interaction, and every customer moment reflects Indie Campers high standards.
Responsibilities- Customer Service & Operations:
Conduct check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide ongoing rental support. Handle service recovery and emergencies with empathy. - Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement:
Prepare and perform RV demos, showcasing features, specs, and customer-specific needs. Ensure smooth handovers and all documentation is in order. - Sales Conversion & Lead Management:
Track leads, demos, and follow-ups in CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities, and support the RV Sales District and City Lead to meet targets. - Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
Maintain knowledge of Indie Campers RV models and perform basic system demos (lighting, gas, etc.). Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
- Experience:
1-3 years in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive environments. - Skills:
Strong communication and customer engagement abilities. - Technical:
Ability to understand and explain technical RV/vehicle systems; capable of basic system demos (lighting, gas, etc.). - Other:
Hands-on, adaptable, solution-oriented under pressure. - Tools:
Proficiency with CRM tools and rental systems; experience with digital sales software is a plus. - Organization:
Detail-focused and proactive in managing leads or customers. - Licenses & Language:
Driving License (Category
B) required;
English proficiency. - Work Type:
Part-time, zero-hours contract. Expected hours: 8-24 per week.
- Able to stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods.
- Able to lift or carry light to moderate items (10-15 kg).
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season schedules.
- Ability to interact with customers in different emotional states with calmness and professionalism.
