Overview
Senior Account Manager is a motivated, collaborative, and experienced role focused on driving growth in the UK market. Reporting to the Sales Director, UK, the position is located in-market and emphasizes rapid, high-quality execution to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed brand objectives and sales goals
- Develop a clear understanding of the dynamics of assigned accounts and local market specifics to help set overall account strategy and priorities (assortment, merchandising, tailored trade marketing calendar)
- Identify and execute business-building initiatives to grow market shares, rankings, and profitability
- Ensure a strong visual presence in-store and on retailer websites
- Forecast on a monthly basis and provide feedback on over- and under-delivery of goals
- Collaborate on assortment and planogram work with the Space Planning team
- Manage parts of the P&L (sales revenue, trade margins, A&P) and be responsible for monthly and annual forecast planning
- Demonstrate strong sales, influence, and collaboration skills; develop and execute sales meetings and product training for assigned accounts
- Monitor and report on competitive brand launches and events
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales within the Beauty industry, with experience dealing with large mass cosmetics retailers in the local market
- Leadership ability and willingness to take responsibility and accountability
- Strong business acumen and financial ability
- Value integrity, personal responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Team-oriented, responsive, and driven to succeed
- Strong sales, influence, and collaboration skills
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Analytically minded
- Passion for digital and driving omnichannel sales strategy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power Point
