Position: National Account Manager - Discounters (12 month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: City of Westminster

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will be an integral part of the Off Trade Channel Family, shaping our success by creating and executing JBPs with your customer. Full P&L ownership, managing all variables to deliver the plan (commercial, marketing, supply chain, etc.). You have a founder’s mentality to challenge the status quo and drive positive change within your account and the wider team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver the JBP – price, promotion, distribution, feature, NPD and brand content, to develop a best‑in‑class execution plan.
  • Look beyond the outline trading plan and pursue new opportunities/ways of working to strengthen the relationship and performance with your account.
  • Partner closely and build alignment with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Brand, Finance, Supply Chain and other teams where appropriate.
  • Develop and nurture core internal and external relationships required to deliver the plan, including S&OP forecasting.
  • Activate our brands within your account, ensuring they show up above and beyond the competition and excite shoppers and consumers.
  • Manage and deliver regular clear updates to key business processes (e.g. monthly performance review, annual Bottom‑Up Plan creation).
  • Complete pre and post evaluation of promotions & activities.
  • Take a leadership role within the team and inspire the desire to build the team’s overall capability through training, coaching, best practice and knowledge sharing.

  • Ability to form strong relationships, negotiate and influence best‑in‑class plans.
  • Manage key stakeholders across the business at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Actively develop new relationships that unlock opportunities.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, presentation and communication skills.
  • Creativity to develop strong activation plans that drive rate of sale and distribution of our brands across multi‑channel business – Retail, Convenience & Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and forecasting/data tools.
