Business Development Consultant | Hybrid (4 Days Office / 1 Day Home)

Do you enjoy starting conversations, understanding commercial challenges, and introducing ideas that genuinely help businesses move forward?

We're looking for a Business Development Consultant to join an established but growing organisation. This is a consultative outbound role, suited to someone confident on the phone, curious about how businesses operate, and motivated by uncovering opportunities rather than pushing a hard sale.

You’ll be proactive in reaching out to new prospects, asking the right questions, and positioning solutions that make sense for each organisation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Making outbound calls to introduce the business and start high‑quality conversations
  • Engaging senior stakeholders in a professional, consultative way
  • Understanding challenges, priorities, and commercial objectives
  • Identifying where the solutions can add genuine value
  • Presenting ideas clearly and confidently
  • Turning leads into qualified opportunities

    Building long‑term relationships from first contact
  • Maintaining accurate CRM notes and sharing market insight
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in business development, telesales, or outbound calling
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • A consultative mindset – you listen before offering solutions
  • Resilience and consistency when working outbound
  • Strong communication and questioning skills
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working to targets
