A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Night Supervisor, who will manage and develop the Security team in all areas of Security and maintain close working relations. Ensuring the team deliver smooth and efficient running of the Security Service for a corporate destination located in the City of London's financial district.

Job Requirements
  • SIA Door Supervisor & CCTV Licence required.
  • Experience as a security Team Leader/Supervisor/Lead Officer is required.
  • Ability to organise and motivate team to guarantee optimum performance of the wider security team.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to coordinate and provide strategic direction to an administrative back‑office function.
  • Gravitas and Resilience to work through complex requirements.
  • Leadership and ability to follow plans through to completion.
  • Experience of security risk assessment, physical security planning
  • Time management & Organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including report writing.
Job Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times.
  • To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Contract Manager.
  • To ensure the handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
  • To convey a smart, well‑groomed appearance in approved uniform, provide a first‑class customer service and display high levels of vigilance throughout a shift, making a good first impression.
  • To portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour always, using open and appropriate body language.
  • Vigilance is key in this regard - any untoward activity and/or security related concerns must be immediately reported to Security Control.
  • To be customer service facing - Polite, Positive and Professional at all times - every single colleague, tenant and visitor is a client and must be treated as such.
  • Respond to alarm activations and investigate disturbances as instructed.
  • Monitor entry and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons - all untoward activity is to be immediately reported.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities (statements and incident reports), such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or any unusual occurrences.
  • To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards, and conduct.
  • To keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/s.
  • Oversee that the contracts officers are all performing to the required standards and take appropriate actions to remedy any shortfalls.
  • Monitor that patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.
  • Liaise regularly with CIS Managers ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
  • Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.
  • To be able to work as part of a team.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
