Role Description
:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Security Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a team of Security Officers within a busy retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader with a strong operational background in the security industry who is committed to maintaining high standards of service delivery, compliance, and team performance
.
Key Responsibilitie
- s:
Lead, manage and support a team of Security Officers across the sit - e.Conduct staff inductions and coordinate ongoing training and develop men
- t.Manage performance, attendance, conduct, and employee relations matters in line with company procedure
- s.Carry out investigations where required and maintain accurate record
- s.Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, including the Police, Local Authorities, and other external partner
- s.Complete operational audits and ensure compliance with contractual service standard
- s.Monitor performance against agreed service levels and identify areas for continuous improve men
- t.Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, including the completion of risk assessments and promotion of safe working practice
- s.Support payroll administration and maintain accurate personnel record
- s.Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including right-to-work checks, vetting, and company policie
- s.Maintain accurate records using internal systems and produce reports where require

Previous experience in a Security Management rol - e.A valid SIA Licenc
- e.Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team
- s.Experience managing investigations, performance issues and operational complianc
- e.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients and external stakeholder
- s.A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solvin
- g.Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workloa
- d.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to use operational management system
- s.A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and security industry best practic
