Carpenter & Multi Trader

Up to £40000 per annum + O/T + Benefits

As a Multi Trader Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality carpentry, joinery, drylining, and general building works for our client’s commercial and retail clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as project work in occupied environments, including some night work.

• Carry out general planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship
• Undertake project work, including carpentry, joinery, drylining, and general building works in commercial and retail settings
• Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, consistently delivering exceptional results
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to risk assessments and method statements
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues

• CSCS Card holder
• Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, and general building works
• Proficiency in working with various materials and in different environments
• Experience in reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and commercial refurbishments
• Familiarity with risk assessments and method statements
• Trustworthy, conscientious, and able to work well under pressure
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work outside of normal working hours
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK, and own transport desirable
