HIU Engineer

Overview

Mobile HIU Engineer £45/47k + £6k Bonus and no call out rota

Established in 2009, my client is a dynamic, fast growing utility services company that provides services to distributed energy schemes in the UK, particularly district heating schemes. The services provided include metering & billing, installation (and retrofit) of pay-as-you-go equipment and ongoing maintenance.

They are now seeking X 2 HIU Engineers to join their London and South east mobile operations.

• Breakdowns, commissions and fault finding on pre-payment systems including Guru, sav kurve and Liberty connect 100.
• Installing pre payment systems and setting on the Head end system
• Diagnose and repair heat meters within the HIU
• Attending breakdowns, repairs and services of many HIU models
• Assisting minor plant room works - Intending to fully train in energy centres and plant rooms to complete end to end diagnostics and repairs of communal/district heating systems

£43/47k Basic Salary

£6,000.00 yearly bonus, paid quarterly based on performance.

Primarily Field based across London - UK wide work on occasion as client requirements dictate (Will Van & Fuel Card)

37.5 hours per week – Monday to 8am to 8pm flexible hours to suit the contracts. Afternoon shifts and day shifts alternate.

33 days holiday per year including bank/public holidays.

Development and training which includes progression towards Field Technical Engineer and commercial gas qualifications.
