Position: Camden-QSW-Assessing SW-Fostering Recruitment&Assessment (Temporary)
Camden - QSW - Assessing Social Worker - Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Recruiting and assessing prospective foster carers and Supported Lodgings Hosts.

* Completing Form F assessments, Host Assessments and specialist fostering assessments.

* Delivering pre-approval training such as Skills to Foster programmes.

* Participating in the fostering duty rota several days each month.

* Contributing to team activities including support groups and carer training.

* Attending outreach, marketing events and recruitment campaigns to promote fostering.

* Ensuring high-quality assessments and reports in line with fostering regulations and statutory requirements.

Working Pattern:

* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
*£37.52 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* Social Work England Registration

* Post-qualification experience, ideally within fostering

* Strong assessment and analytical skills

* Knowledge of fostering legislation including Children Act 1989 & Fostering Service Regulations 2011

* Enhanced DBS
