Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour + Holiday Pay (HP)

Contract: Temporary/Ongoing

Hours: Full-time (Shift pattern to be confirmed)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Recovery Worker to join a leading substance misuse service in W9 2JD
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse to achieve sustainable recovery.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a caseload of service users, deliver structured interventions, and support individuals to reduce harm, improve wellbeing, and work towards positive recovery outcomes.

• Manage a caseload of clients with substance misuse support needs.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans.
• Deliver structured one-to-one key work sessions and recovery-focused interventions.
• Provide harm reduction advice and promote safer practices.
• Support clients to access healthcare, housing, employment, education, and community services.
• Monitor client progress and regularly review recovery plans.
• Liaise effectively with partner agencies including healthcare professionals, probation, housing providers, and social services.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure all documentation is completed in line with organisational policies.
• Promote safeguarding and follow all relevant policies and procedures.

• Previous experience working as a Recovery Worker
  , Substance Misuse Worker
  , Drug & Alcohol Worker
  , or in a similar support role.
• Experience managing a caseload and completing assessments.
• Knowledge of substance misuse, harm reduction, safeguarding, and recovery-focused practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong IT and record-keeping skills.

• Experience working with opiate, non-opiate, alcohol, or dual-diagnosis clients.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
• Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Substance Misuse, or a related field.

• £14.50 per hour + Holiday Pay (HP)
