Advice and Wellbeing Specialist – Help Residents Thrive

Are you passionate about supporting people through difficult circumstances and helping them achieve positive, lasting outcomes? As an Advice and Wellbeing Specialist, you'll provide holistic, trauma-informed support to residents facing complex challenges, helping them sustain their tenancies and improve their wellbeing.

Working closely with residents, colleagues, local authorities and community organisations, you'll deliver practical support, advocacy and referrals that make a genuine difference to people's lives.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provide tailored advice, wellbeing and tenancy support to residents facing complex or vulnerable circumstances.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, local authorities and voluntary organisations to deliver coordinated support.
  • Manage a varied caseload, helping residents access services including financial support, health services, safeguarding and social prescribing.
  • Promote wellbeing initiatives, support community projects and help identify residents who may benefit from additional support.
  • Advocate for residents and help them access the services they need to achieve positive outcomes.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience delivering advice, wellbeing, advocacy or tenancy support services to vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong understanding of issues affecting social housing residents, including financial hardship, wellbeing, safeguarding and social exclusion.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across multiple agencies and services.
  • A recognised advice, information and guidance qualification, or a similar qualification in welfare rights, counselling, coaching or support services.
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred support and improving resident outcomes.

Your base location will be Westminster Bridge Road, with the role covering North East London.

Candidates who pass the initial sift will be invited to record responses to two video interview questions.

Interviews will be held in person on Thursday 8th October and Friday 9th October at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
