Embedded Software Engineer – Berkshire
Permanent (37 hours per week with a 1pm finish on Friday) – £50,000 – £70,000 per annum. Willing to undergo SC or DV Clearance / Currently holds SC or DV Clearance.
Our client are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement and test mission critical applications. You will ideally need C, C++ or Rust experience to qualify for this role.
Working Patterns:
This role is based predominantly on site in Berkshire.
- Design, develop, and test embedded/software solutions across full lifecycle.
- Work on bare-metal, Embedded Linux, and signal processing systems.
- Code in C, C++, Rust, and Python.
- Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and mechanical teams.
- Produce technical documentation and ensure security compliance.
- Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Embedded Linux, C/C++, or Rust.
- Strong in OOD, design patterns, and software testing.
- Desirable:
Python, GUI frameworks, Yocto, web or mobile dev, protocols (TCP/WiFi), FPGA, UML tools.
- Annual Bonus Scheme (up to 10%).
