UI Engineer - Fixed Income

An established financial markets organisation is evolving its Fixed Income technology landscape through a long-term platform enhancement programme. This role focuses on developing real‑time, high‑performance applications that support key trading workflows across Rates and Credit. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions designed for long‑term growth.

Build modern, real‑time, high‑performance microservices supporting core Rates and Credit trading workflows

Design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions in collaboration with engineers across the technology stack

Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand trading processes, and deliver impactful features

Contribute to the development of a scalable, maintainable, and operationally efficient platform

• Experience of UI constraints; strong experience with React and Type Script

Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and concurrency

Experience with microservice architectures and event‑driven systems

Proven experience designing and building RESTful and event‑driven APIs

Working knowledge of SQL and relational database design

Exposure to containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with reactive programming models
