As the lead of theteam,you’llbearchitectinga multi-petabyte scale estate, processing billions of data points daily from thousands of data sources. Our stack combines Java and Python, with foundations of Kafka,Arctic

You will bea keenand self-motivated hands-on engineering manager, with experience in the market data domain.

You’llbe a member of ahighly-focused team with an exceptionally broad responsibility, sogreat communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team area must.

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Experience with real-time market data feeds
• Experience running and deliveringcomplexprojects to an exceptionally high standard
• Deep knowledge of one or more relevant technologies such as Iceberg,KDB, or Kafka
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with performance optimization and large-scale data processing
• Ability to turn stakeholder requirements into successful outcomes
• Embracing agentic engineering - willingness and ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow
• Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical and computing content e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics
• Proficient on Linux platforms and strong understanding of Git
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
