AI Architect; SC Clearance Eligible

AI Architect – 6‑month contract (SC Clearance required, £TBC Inside IR35)

My client, a government body, is looking for an AI Architect to join their fast‑paced team on an initial 6‑month contract.

As an AI Architect, you will work with specialist teams to shape, design and deliver AI solutions to industry‑facing client partners. This fast‑paced area of IT requires continuous learning, self‑drive and creative problem‑solving. You will collaborate with others to reflect clients’ views, shape solutions and communicate benefits to stakeholders.

• Design and implement innovative AI solutions that meet client needs and drive business value.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems and processes.
• Demonstrate modern AI solutions to clients, showcasing their benefits and applications.
• Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on the latest AI trends and technologies.
• Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
• Distill proposed architectures into actionable insights for developers to implement effectively.
• Create and manage agents, knowledge graphs and chatbots to enhance user experience and efficiency.
• Architect and lead the implementation of AI harness engineering ecosystems and agentic solutions using platforms such as Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, Codex and related AI engineering tool chains.
• Develop and optimise AI models using machine learning and AI engineering platforms.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in AI.

• Strong experience with Solution Architecture, especially recent focus on AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Proven ability to architect and deploy innovative AI solutions under tight deadlines, and to showcase these solutions to client stakeholders.
• Experience providing solutions using Agent Harness, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), Graph
  
  RAG, knowledge graphs, code agents, deep research agents and chatbots.
• Familiarity with AI engineering platforms such as Azure AI Foundry and AWS Bedrock.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks including Claude Agent SDK, AWS Bedrock Agent Core, MS Agent Framework and Langgraph Deep Agents, and machine learning platforms for model training and deployment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
