Job Title: Java Engineer - Financial Services
Location: London/Burgess Hill
Salary/Rate: £290 per day
Start Date: 15th July
Job Type: Contract - 6 months

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 11 or higher
• Build and support microservices and event-driven architectures for distributed systems
• Develop and maintain automated tests as part of the software delivery lifecycle
• Work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, or equivalent application frameworks

• Experience working with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Strong understanding of Spring Framework and related ecosystem tools
• Experience with JUnit and automated unit/integration testing
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working in financial services or payments environments
• Exposure to high-availability, distributed systems at scale
• Knowledge of API development and integration patterns
• Experience with automated testing frameworks beyond unit testing
