Overview

An early‑stage technology business whose flagship product is an AI‑powered assistant designed to automate operational workflows across communications, maintenance, compliance and scheduling.

Role

You will take ownership of the company's data architecture and act as the senior technical authority for Data Engineering. This is a hands‑on leadership role without people management.

Responsibilities

Designing and owning the end‑to‑end data architecture
Building scalable batch and real‑time data pipelines
Developing data ingestion, storage and transformation frameworks
Creating infrastructure to support AI and machine learning products
Driving performance, reliability and scalability of large datasets

Skills and Experience

Python development within data or backend engineering environments
Designing and building scalable distributed data systems
Data architecture and pipeline engineering (batch and streaming)
PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
No

SQL and modern vector database technologies (e.g. Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector)

Benefits

Salary of up to £100,000 depending on experience.
