The CompanyA fast-growing technology business developing a data-driven platform that helps users gain a clearer view of complex financial information. Working in Agile squads, they are investing heavily in automation, AI-assisted development, and modern engineering practices as they continue to scale.
The RoleYou will be responsible for driving automated testing across a web platform and backend services, helping ensure quality, reliability, and performance while reducing manual testing.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Creating UI and API test coverage across frontend and backend systems
- Supporting regression testing for platform enhancements and integrations
- Ensuring data accuracy and quality across complex systems
- Leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing, debugging, and test creation
- Contributing to CI/CD processes and quality best practices
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams
- Strong commercial experience with Java or Kotlin
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Rest Assured or Postman
- UI automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, APIs, and backend testing
- Experience building automation frameworks and strategies
- Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD environments
- Active use of AI tools within your engineering workflow, including Claude and N8N
- Passion for reducing manual effort through automation
- Salary up to £75,000
- Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the London office
