Job
Starting salary of £24,268 (£12.23 per hour) increasing to £26,758 (£13.49 per hour) after completion of a 6‑month probation period. Additional supplement of £842 per annum pro‑rata, night shift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38‑hour full‑time week). Inner London weighting allowance £5,651 per annum pro‑rata;
Outer London weighting allowance £3,350 per annum pro‑rata. Potential total package circa £30,000 per annum (including overtime).

Working hours:

38 full‑time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance Monday to Friday 09:00–16:36.

First things first, you’ll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. Then you’ll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses. It’s important that you’re able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kg.

Essential: a full UK manual driving licence (current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat

B) and 7.5 tonnes (Cat C1). Ideally, you’ll have a clean licence but it should not have more than 6 penalty points. You’ll be required to show your licence at your assessment.
