Removals Operative; Class 2 Driver Licence

Overview

Driver Hire London West are recruiting on behalf of one of the country’s leading removals businesses for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 HGV driver to join their team as a removals operative on a temporary to permanent basis.

While this role does involve some driving of an HGV Class 2 vehicle, the majority of your time will be spent supporting removals and storage operations. If you enjoy physical work and delivering great customer service, this could be a great fit.

A forklift licence is a bonus but not essential. What will make you successful is professional driving skills, work ethic and friendly service delivery.

• Location: Wembley
• Pay: £18.00ph + overnight allowance
• Job Type: Full-time, Temp-Perm
• Consistent work: with a trusted, reputable company

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles for removals & storage
• Pack, wrap, load, and unload customer goods
• Be part of – and help to support and lead – a team to complete jobs efficiently
• Travel across the UK (potential overnight stays)

• Class 2 / Cat C Licence & CPC Certificate
• Removals experience (preferred)
• A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
• FLT Licence (bonus but not essential)

You’ll work with us, Driver Hire, for the first few months and be paid weekly. If the role suits you and the client, you’ll be taken on permanently after a successful trial period.
