Class 1 Driver

Pyramid Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing ad hoc agency bookings with a leading transport operation specialising in temperature‑controlled deliveries.

Responsibilities

Safe and professional operation of Class 1 refrigerated vehicles
Completing temperature‑controlled deliveries to RDCs, distribution centres, and customer locations
Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Monitoring and maintaining temperature compliance throughout deliveries
Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
Completing all relevant paperwork and POD documentation accurately

Requirements

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Experience with refrigerated or temperature‑controlled transport is advantageous but not essential
Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
Professional and reliable approach to work
