Imagine earning a full-time salary while working part‑time hours. Imagine having a hard cap on your caseload so you never have to take work home. At Helping Hand Therapy, we aren't just talking about work‑life balance; we built our entire business model around it.
The Role: We are seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our mission‑driven practice in Southern Oregon (Ashland/Central Point). This is a W‑2 position designed for experienced clinicians who want to do deep, meaningful work without sacrificing their own well‑being.
The "Unicorn" Offer (Why You Should Apply): Most practices burn you out with 35+ clients a week. We don't.
- True Work‑Life Balance: This is a 25‑hour per week position.
- Sustainable Caseload: Your week consists of ~23 client sessions and 2 hours of paid administrative time.
- Premium Compensation: $74,000 – $78,000 per year. (Yes, that is for 25 hours).
- Raise to $75,500 at 90 days.
- Raise to $78,000 at 1 year.
- Stability: W‑2 Status. No chasing payments. No unpaid no‑shows. Just a steady, reliable paycheck.
The Benefits:
- Health Insurance Stipend ($300–$500/month).
- Retirement Plan (Simple IRA) with financial coaching.
- Full Malpractice Insurance Coverage.
- Generous CEU Allowance (up to 18 CEUs/year).
- Paid Time Off (PTO).
Who We Are: Helping Hand Therapy is a practice founded by therapists, for therapists. We base our culture on the "Infinite Game"—prioritizing long‑term health over short‑term profits. We provide inclusive, affirming care (especially for the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities) and trauma‑informed support.
Who You Are:
- Licensed: You hold an active Oregon license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Experienced: You have 2+ years of post‑licensure experience.
- Specialized: You have a strong foundation in trauma‑informed care. Bonus points for EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, or Couples/Family experience.
- Mission‑Aligned: You believe that the best client care comes from clinicians who are thriving, not just surviving.
Location: Hybrid/In‑Person in Southern Oregon (Central Point & Ashland).
