The Project Manager role at Garver is a full-time, on-site position based in Central, AR. This role is responsible for leading engineering and construction-related projects from initiation through completion, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control. The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, oversee expediting of materials and equipment, manage logistics, and support inspection activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing risks, preparing status reports, facilitating meetings with internal teams and clients, and supporting timely resolution of issues. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, contributing to proposals, and supporting continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to manage material and equipment procurement and delivery timelines.
- Inspection experience to support construction oversight, quality assurance, and compliance with specifications.
- Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of project resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience managing infrastructure or engineering projects, preferably in transportation, water, or related sectors.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and risk management.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and with clients.
- Proficiency with project management software and common office productivity tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Central, AR and occasionally visit project locations as needed.
