Our client is a rapidly scaling EdTech SaaS provider offering learning management, content creation, and assessment tools used by K-12 schools, universities, and corporate L&D. Their platform helps learning organisations personalise student journeys via adaptive learning algorithms and analytics dashboards. Having raised a Series B round in the last 18 months, they’re expanding their US operations, hiring teams in engineering, product, and customer success.

As Head of Product, you will lead the product strategy for the US & global markets, with ownership of the roadmap, user experience, and innovation. Your mission: ensure the platform meets emerging educational standards, scales well under high user load, and stays ahead of competitors in interactivity, mobile delivery, and analytics. You’ll work closely with engineering, instructional design, UX, sales, and customers.

Success looks like increased engagement rates, high retention among institutions, and product features that drive both upsell and usage.

• Define and own product strategy & roadmap in consultation with leadership, customers, and market research.
• Lead agile product development cycles with engineering. Prioritise features based on user feedback, KPIs, and business impact.
• Ensure usability, accessibility (WCAG), and mobile responsiveness are central to product design.
• Drive product innovation in adaptive learning, AI tutoring, content authoring, analytics, and assessments.
• Partner with UX/design to deliver compelling learner & educator experiences.
• Collaborate with Sales & Customer Success to understand customer needs and reduce churn.
• Oversee metrics: engagement, retention, time-to-value, feature adoption.
• Manage the product team: product managers, data analysts, UX researchers. Mentor junior team members.
• Conduct competitive analysis; keep an eye on market trends, regulatory changes (education standards, data privacy).

• 7+ years in SaaS product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in EdTech or related sectors (LMS, assessment, content, or learning tools) strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with data, analytics, and measurement of user behaviour.
• Strong UX / design sensibility; ability to balance product polish with speed.
• Excellent stakeholder management: able to align engineering, design, customers, and leadership.
• Strong communication skills; able to articulate product vision & trade-offs clearly.
• Passion for education & technology; mission-driven mindset.
