Site Reliability Engineer Europe

Seeking a hands-on Software Engineer with strong Dev Ops and SRE experience to design, build, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native services. This role requires end-to-end ownership of software delivery, infrastructure automation, reliability, observability, and operational excellence in AWS and Kubernetes environments.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable microservices and distributed systems.

Build and operate cloud-native applications across development, test, and production environments.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and deployment automation.

Develop automated tests and apply quality-focused engineering practices, including TDD.

Design REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, availability, and scalability.

Drive observability through logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and incident management.

Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions to improve reliability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into simple, maintainable technical solutions.

Champion engineering, Dev Ops, security, and operational best practices.

Contribute to architecture, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

3+ years of software engineering experience.

Strong Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot expertise.

Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Strong Kafka and event-driven architecture experience.

Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with PostgreSQL, AuroraDB, Redis, DynamoDB, or similar databases.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.

Performance testing and tuning experience using JMeter or similar tools.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and production support skills.

Experience with Git and Agile development practices.

Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops , cloud security, and operational excellence principles.
