This role involves providing locum tenens coverage in an inpatient OB/GYN department with 24-hour call shifts and a minimum of 10 shifts per month.
Responsibilities include managing approximately 5 patients per shift, performing rounding, low & high risk pregnancy care, vaginal & C-section deliveries
, and conducting FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and Level I screening
.
Additionally, the provider will perform surgical GYN procedures such as open surgeries, IUD insertions, colposcopy, LEEP, and cystoscopy.
The position seeks 2-3 providers for consistent long-term coverage
.
Qualifications include relevant skills in obstetrics and gynecology, with experience in surgical procedures and ultrasound interpretation.
Compensation ranges from $150 to $225 per hour, including base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay.
