Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
APPS - American Para Professional Systems, Inc. is hiring a Part‑Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to complete insurance physicals in the Centralia/ Chehalis area.
Job Summary- Independent contractors (ICs) are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while completing quality exams.
- Exams are conducted on a mobile basis in the client’s home or office and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12‑lead EKGs.
- Exams last anywhere from 15 minutes to a little over an hour.
- Contractors must follow compliance policies, safety procedures, and maintain confidentiality in gathering client information.
- Set your own schedule. Exams are available 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
- Most contractors have full‑time jobs and use this role to earn additional income.
- Scheduling assistance is provided so you can focus on medical exams.
- Reimbursement: paid every two weeks by direct deposit for each completed exam.
- Territory: choose the zip codes you will work within.
- Orientation: 3‑4 hour in‑person orientation to verify skills and demonstrate paperwork and website use.
- Equipment: equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges may be rented; use of your own equipment is considered but not guaranteed. Manual BP cuff (Large & Extra Large) required; other items include stethoscope, tape measure, printer/paper/ink, weighing scale (400lb), gloves, alcohol swabs, band‑aid or coban, gauze.
- Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
- Familiarity with tablets/computers.
- Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
- EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance.
