Description$10,000 Sign-On for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Provides quality care to patients. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms proficiently on inpatients and outpatients. Assists physicians with technical aspects of transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Completes patient worksheets and processes reports according to department guidelines. Participates in development of the Echocardiology department by active participation in quality improvement. Works closely with the Cardiovascular Imaging Manager on all issues affecting the department.
Required Qualifications- A degree from a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or a program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, OR
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year experience performing adult echocardiography.
- Experience with transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
