ABOUT CASCADECascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County.
SHIFTS AVAILABLEThis position will normally require that the employee work a non‑standard workweek including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position’s primary schedule will be swing shift, the schedule will include a weekend day. Due to this program being operational 24/7/365, there are circumstances that may require working a flexible schedule. Operations of the program may require a staff member to remain on shift until a relief worker is found in the event a shift is not covered, this may result in mandatory overtime.
PAYSCALE
$29.50 - $32.57 / Hour, DOE
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS- Must have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in counseling or the social sciences required.
- Washington State Department of Health Certified Agency Affiliated Counselor (CAAC)
- Credential required or must meet the requirements to obtain CAAC with the Washington State Department of Health within state’s defined timeframe or meet the requirements for a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WA State (WAC ).
- CPR and First Aid Certification Required.
- Experience working on a crisis team strongly preferred.
- Must pass WA State Patrol background check at preemployment screening and annually thereafter. A national background check may be required if have not lived in WA State consecutively the last three years.
- Must be able to obtain clearance to the Lewis County Jail.
- Must complete all program required trainings within the timelines as mandated by WA State.
- Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to gain access to all types of buildings and residences regardless of the structure’s handicapped accessibility or lack thereof.
- Must maintain current phone number and keep current mailing address on file with Human Resources.
- Scheduled to work alongside the team as a crisis interventionist.
- Support team leadership by assisting with day-to-day operations including scheduling, communication, and resource management.
- Provide case management support by helping to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients.
- On-call support to provide on-call support to the team during off-hours.
- Participate in staff recruitment as directed by supervisor.
- Assure that staff are trained in proper techniques to safely provide quality mobile crisis services and to complete clinical documentation.
- Identify and schedule trainings for staff required by credential and maintain training records as directed by the supervisor.
- Monitor and complete supply orders.
- Provide community partners with education around MCT program.
- Coordination of care with other Cascade programs.
- Facilitates communication between managers and staff.
- Participates in staff meetings as scheduled.
- Represents the agency in coordinating services with other community providers. Also attends community meetings.
- Ensures program compliance requirements are being met.
- Provide crisis services (within scope of credential).
- Maintains records, reports and documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Participates in supervision, consultation and training at the direction of the supervisor.
- Cascade is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Cascade is also an approved site for Washington Health Corps – State Health Program, Behavioral Health Program, and the Federal Health Program.
