Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate all machine tools in the EDM Room including, but not limited to, Ram's Wire's and CNC machining centers.
- Capable of operating conventional mills, grinders, and lathes.
- Work to tolerance of +/- .0005"
- Produce tooling components and any other parts normally produced in the Tool Room through verbal instructions, drawings, sketch, and machine programs.
- Independently make own set-ups for all assignments.
- Interpret and edit CAD generated programs.
- Reports directly to shift supervisor but may be given direction by other assigned and authorized individuals in the department or organization. May be required to do work of equal or lower classification.
Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology, or equivalent experience with a recommended 30 plus credit hours of trade school, or a journeyman status from an approved apprentice program.
