Class A CDL Driver - Centralia, WA

UNFI is a leading distributor on the West Coast. Join our Centralia Distribution Center as a Class A CDL Driver and help deliver palletized products to stores across Washington.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver and unload palletized products using tractor‑trailer, ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, and load bars.
• Operate vehicle safely within UNFI guidelines.
• Report any accident immediately to the Transportation Manager/Department.
• Keep vehicles well maintained, safe, and secure; report defects using the DCVR form.
• Pick up supplies and back hauls from vendors and complete related paperwork.
• Address and resolve customer problems as appropriate.
• Ensure customer orders arrive in quality condition and correspond precisely to the initial order.

• Current Commercial Driver’s License, Class
  
  A.
• Ability to pass a road test.

• Prefer minimum of one year verified experience operating a tractor trailer.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of DOT law and mandates.
• Understanding of UNFI’s safety standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of shipping and receiving functions.
• Good time management skills.
• Good judgment is required; may work with limited supervision.
