Role Description
This part-time position as a Peak-Time Teller is an on-site role located in Centre or Cedar Bluff, AL. The Peak-Time Teller will be responsible for assisting customers with a range of banking transactions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, balancing cash drawers, and providing excellent customer service.
Additional responsibilities may include identifying opportunities to promote the bank's financial products and services to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with cash handling, transaction processing, and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for assisting customers with a positive attitude, resolving inquiries efficiently, and providing excellent service.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adhere to procedures for ensuring the accuracy and security of all transactions.
- Basic understanding of banking products and services, with the ability to cross-sell financial products where appropriate.
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in banking, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in operating standard office equipment and utilizing banking software.
- Ability to work flexible hours including peak business times, with reliable attendance and punctuality.
