In this position, you will utilize your skills within the industrial manufacturing sector. The role requires a trades certificate or equivalent experience, with expertise in gas metal arc welding techniques. Successful candidates should be comfortable working in a dusty and noisy environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret specifications for welding processes

• Operate semi-automatic and automated welding equipment

• Read and interpret welding blueprints and manuals

• Examine welds to ensure compliance with standards

• Handle various metals including aluminum and stainless steel

Requirements:

• Education or experience in trades certification or diploma

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Experience with welding techniques (GMAW/MIG)

• Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Personal tools and safety gear required
