About S&P Global Mobility S&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.
The Team:
Corporate Platforms is an enterprise-shared technology service enabling people, functions, and divisions. We enable the organization to serve our customers by working as trusted partners delivering secure, scalable, resilient, and innovative data, applications, platforms and solutions that provide reliable and seamless experiences for our corporate functions teams, including Legal, People, Marketing, Commercial, Risk and Compliance, Financial Services, Tax, and Procurement.
Responsibilities and Impact:
The Head of Corporate Platforms:
Financial Systems is responsible for ensuring the applications and platforms used by the Finance Business teams work effectively and efficiently to enable Order to Cash, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting activities to occur on‑time and without technical issues. This role works in partnership with the Finance organization to implement, support and enhance all end‑to‑end financial systems platforms.
A close working relationship with the Infrastructure and the Enterprise Risk and Compliance, and Audit teams is also required.
- Work with the Finance teams to implement a Financial Services suite of applications across the Enterprise. Successfully exit the TSA with S&P Global Inc. within 18 months of its initiation.
- Support and maintain those systems with a team of dedicated resources. Work seamlessly with the project scrum teams on large regulatory or transformational initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CISO teams and infrastructure teams to proactively identify and mitigate technology and cyber risk.
- Utilize AI technology to drive efficiency and self‑service options across corporate Platforms:
Financial Services. - Establish governance framework across Financial Services platforms to measure effectiveness of services provided. Create an environment that focuses on collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
- Ensure operating costs are managed and maintained within established budget.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the enterprise to integrate their roadmaps into strategic planning.
- Implement a robust testing and Quality Assurance process to minimize business disruption risk.
(This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:Basic
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Financial Systems platform support, including both building and operating these functions.
- Able to convey complex risk topics, including progress of remediation efforts, statuses of issues, etc. to varied audiences (e.g., executive leadership, technical teams, audit, etc).
- Successful track record in working in a global environment, with the ability to create constructive relationships and communicate across various organizational teams.
- Experience in building and supporting a globally dispersed team. Ability to develop team members potential, grow leaders and enhance skillsets across your team.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem‑solving abilities, with proven experience in prioritizing and executing tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
