Breast Ultrasound Technologist – Outpatient

Fairfax Radiology Centers—the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia—is looking for a qualified Breast Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech) to join our team at the Fairfax Radiology Imaging Center.

This is a full‑time, benefitted position.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or on‑call duties. Free on‑site parking is available. Ask about eligibility for a sign‑on bonus.

• Perform high‑quality breast ultrasound imaging and sonography exams, including screening and diagnostic studies
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound‑guided breast procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and localizations
• Acquire and evaluate high‑quality images for diagnostic accuracy
• Communicate breast anatomy and pathology findings to radiologists
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care while maintaining professionalism and empathy

• New graduates in Diagnostic Medical Sonography are welcome
• 1+ years of experience in breast ultrasound highly preferred
• Current RDMS certification required (Breast specialty preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient‑first mindset
