Job DescriptionAre you ready to uncover the “needle in the haystack of needles”? Parsons is seeking a skilled Network Targeting Analyst to join our team! In this role, you’ll work with development teams and mission owners to identify and interpret critical data that drives mission success. Your expertise in networks, telecommunications systems, and protocols will be essential in delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing- Data Analysis: Leverage a wide variety of tools to pinpoint relevant information and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure mission success.
- Large Dataset Management: Work with large datasets, selecting the appropriate tools to organize and analyze data effectively.
- Packet and Binary Data Analysis: Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
- Reverse Engineering: Perform reverse engineering, protocol reverse engineering, and device/network fingerprinting to uncover critical insights.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience (additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
- Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience using Wireshark or similar network analysis tools.
- Fundamental understanding of networks, routers, and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP).
- Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
An active Top Secret/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our U.S. government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
