Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol PT

Allied Universal seeks a dedicated Security Officer for unarmed patrol duties in Centralville, VA. The role is part‑time and offers flexibility with a schedule that can accommodate personal commitments.

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, deterring potential security incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and clients. You will also respond calmly to emergencies, conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, and document all activities in written or electronic reports.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sunday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service and carry out security procedures per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and problem‑solve in crisis situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Assist with access control monitoring entrances and exits.
• Complete reports of activities, incidents, and observations.
• Follow company and site‑specific procedures and adapt to varying environments.

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with badge systems and access control preferred.
• CPR and/or first‑aid certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license only for driving positions.
