A well-established group within the property space is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers strong exposure across the full accounting function, including financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS, within a high-performing and results-driven environment.

• Complete lease accounting adjustments
• Prepare and post all monthly and annual journals
• Reconcile intercompany balances across debtors, creditors, and loan accounts
• Monitor outstanding debtor and creditors accounts
• Reconcile supplier accounts against project payment schedules
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank deposits
• Review and analyse the trial balance and general ledger
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, provisional tax, and annual income tax submissions
• Ensure all financial records comply with IFRS reporting requirements
• Update insurance records for newly acquired or disposed assets
• Produce monthly management reports for clients and listed funds
• Assist with audit preparation and support year-end closing processes
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for group entities and property portfolios
• Perform ad-hoc reconciliations and support finance managers with financial queries
