SAICA Clerk (Trainee Accountant) Centurion | Permanent | Salary: R12 000 – R27 000 CTC (Depending on qualifications, experience and level of studies)

Our client, a well-established accounting and financial services practice in Centurion, is seeking motivated and ambitious SAICA Clerks to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Chartered Accountants to complete their SAICA articles while gaining hands-on experience in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with audit assignments and engagements
Preparing working papers and audit files
Performing accounting and bookkeeping functions
Preparing financial statements
Completing bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations
Assisting with tax calculations and submissions
Supporting senior accountants and auditors with client portfolios
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Minimum Requirements:

Studying towards or completed a SAICA-accredited BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
Eligible to register for SAICA articles
Strong academic background and understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Own reliable transport is advantageous
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written), as Afrikaans is the primary language used within the office and with many clients.
