Cost and Management Account

What you'll be responsible for:

• Driving cost accounting and management accounting within a plant environment
• Preparing and managing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and analysing production costs
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitoring and analysing WIP (Work in Progress) and inventory
• Identifying cost variances, trends and opportunities for improvement
• Providing meaningful financial insights to operations and senior management
• Supporting improved cost control, efficiency and profitability
• Translating complex financial data into practical commercial decisions

• Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years' experience in Cost / Management Accounting
• Strong experience within a manufacturing, production or plant environment
• Solid understanding of BOMs, WIP, budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Ability to work closely with operations and non-financial stakeholders
• A hands-on, proactive approach - someone who isn't afraid to get into the detail!
