Junior Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Accountant to support their finance department in Centurion . This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles looking to build a career in finance. You will assist the senior accounting team with various tasks, gaining hands‑on experience in financial operations and reporting within a dynamic business environment.

• Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Support the reconciliation of bank statements and vendor accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Help in the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Participate in month-end closing procedures under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing and data management.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant business field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
