Bookkeeper

Indalo Hotels & Leisure is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with hospitality experience who is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and delivering high-quality financial support.

• Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Capture and process supplier invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare monthly journals and support month-end reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset and inventory records where required.
• Assist with payroll preparation and related reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
• Support the Finance Manager with audits, reporting, and other finance-related duties.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and external stakeholders professionally.

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with hospitality financial reporting and multi-property environments will be advantageous.
